Neo-Capital Desktop is a complete accounting program on its own. For features that use an outside service, you can use your own account with that service at no charge from us. Connected is an optional monthly subscription that adds what Neo-Capital Online includes: web browser and mobile app access, included bank feeds, email sending, and other users. You add Connected, and the people you invite do not need their own subscription.

Connected: a lower price for Desktop owners
Because you already own the software, Connected costs less than Online: $15 a month on Basic, $22 on Pro and $35 on Firm. You can also pay yearly: $150, $220 or $350 a year, which is two months free. It includes what Online includes: web browser and mobile app access, included bank feeds, and other users. The difference is that your books are also saved on your own computer. If you cancel, you keep the program and your books.
Online: no installation and no upfront cost
Online is the same program without a license to buy. It runs on our servers, and you use it in your web browser starting at $19 a month. You use one account for both. If you subscribe to Online and buy Desktop later, your subscription changes to the lower Connected price for the tier you bought.

Some features rely on outside services. On Desktop, you can connect your own account with each service and use the feature without paying us. All of this works on Desktop without any subscription.
Bank feeds
Use SimpleFIN, which costs about $15 a year, paid to SimpleFIN. You can also import CSV and PDF statements. Plaid bank feeds are included with Connected.
Your own AI
Neo-Capital runs an MCP server on your computer. You can connect Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex CLI to it and ask questions about your books using the AI subscription you already have.
Sending email
Add your own Resend API key, and invoices, reminders and statements are sent under your business name with replies coming back to you. Resend's free plan is enough for most small businesses.
Store and payment connections
Shopify, Stripe, Square, PayPal and Gusto connect with accounts you already have, on every tier. We do not charge for them or limit them.
You use more than one computer
For example, a desktop and a laptop, or an office computer and a home computer. Without Connected, each computer has its own separate copy of the books, and they do not stay in sync.
Other people work in your books
For example, a bookkeeper, a business partner, your firm's staff, or field workers logging hours on their phones. You add Connected, and the people you invite do not need their own subscription. Five built-in roles control what each person can do, and on the Firm plan you can build your own.
You work away from your desk
With the mobile app and web browser access, you can check your dashboard from a job site, record an expense on the go, or open your books from any computer.
