Sage 50 is the program many people still call Peachtree. Sage renamed Peachtree to Sage 50 in the US, and it remains a capable desktop accounting system with a long history among small businesses and their accountants. Today it is sold as a subscription. Sage's US pricing page lists Pro at $132.17 a month, Premium at $182.50 and Quantum at $271.17.

Neo-Capital Desktop is for people who want what Peachtree used to offer: books stored on their own computer and software they pay for once. Pro and Firm include account registers, bank reconciliation, period close with an audit trail, inventory with assemblies, fixed assets and depreciation, and every financial statement on a cash or accrual basis. It costs $49 for Basic, $249 for Pro or $899 for Firm, once, and it runs on Windows and macOS.
